In this lecture we will explore the history and evolution of Jewish humor in America. We will begin with Jack Benny and travel through the Borscht Belt and Mel Brooks. We will conclude by viewing several scenes from Curb Your Enthusiasm. What does the evolution of Jewish humor say about the American Jewish community?
